Well, we had as much luck today hunting Chukar as we did for deer or elk this season. This game hunting sure is turning out to be tougher than I imagined. Poor Toby says he is about ready to give up on the hunting thing. Of course it helps if you simply enjoy getting out and hiking all through our gorgeous Idaho hills like I do. I told Toby that I'd make him a deal: we have a good spot scouted out for next year and if we come up empty handed over opening weekend I wouldn't ask him to come with me again. Let's hope things turn out better next year!
