Went skiing finally for the first time this season yesterday. I also had my first lesson and was rather disappointed. I have been skiing for almost 35 years and ski black diamonds and I like to ski fast. This was definitely a case of teaching to the lowest common denominator as we skied intermediate runs and were taught very basic skills even though it was supposedly the 'advanced' class. Oh well. After class I joined my two kids and we headed over to the back-side for some very enjoyable clear sky, cold weather skiing!
